God’s Glory Mountain Ministry-Ho (GGMM) has donated some items to residents of Hodzo Anyiborboe, a farming community in the Ho municipality of the Volta Region.
The items included 3 bags of men wear, 5 bags of women wear, a bag of children wear, a bag of footwear for men, women and children and mosquito nets.
The rest are salt, sugar, biscuits, gari and tablespoons.
The donation was done at the Community Centre last Sunday.
Prophet Eric Delson Anyormisi, General Overseer of the church, said the items forms part of the church’s social support, humanitarian and community services for sustainable development.
He said the church as a bible believing one obeys the principle of giving to extend such support to communities and outside the church every year.
The Chairman of the church, Mr. Brian Senyo, used the opportunity to share few words from the bible with the residents.
He encouraged them to believe and have faith adding that with God, all things are possible.
He urged the youth to take their studies serious for a brighter future.
The team was received by Togbe Kusalo II, Dufia of Hodzo Anyiborboe and his elders in the presence of the Assemblymember elect for the Hodzo Electoral Area, Hon. Alfred Adadzi and the entire community.
Togbe who received the items on behalf of his subjects, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the General Overseer of the Church, Prophet Eric Delson Anyormisi, Pastors, the Administration Board and the entire membership for the gesture which he said will go a long way in supporting the community.
He said the community was taken by surprise looking at the huge items the church mobilized for the community.
He appealed for more governmental, Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) and support from other benevolent organisations to provide potable drinking water for his people which he said is a challenge for the community especially in the dry season.
“We have only one Well which sometimes dries up or cave-in making accessibility to water very difficult even in the streams” he said.
The team from the Church included Prophetess Abigail Mawufemor Kogo, Men Ministry Leader, Fridoline Kofi Dey, Women Ministry Secretary, Mrs Sefakor Petershie-Briansen, the Public Relations Officer of the church (PRO), Mr. Kingsley Attitsogbui and was led by the Chairman of the Church, Mr. Brian Senyo.
