Mr. Mawutor Agbavitor, the newly elected regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region has called for unity among members of the party ahead of the 2024 general election.
He urged all party members and all other contestants who could not win in the just ended regional elections to put everything behind and forge ahead.
He therefore advises every constituency to give equal opportunity to any person who aspire to lead or contest for the parliamentary seat to sell their message.
In a press briefing held at the Volta regional NDC party office on November 14, 2022, he stated that elections are over therefore it is time for members to come together under one umbrella and work towards victory in 2024.
He also sent a strong notice to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly in the Volta Region to get ready because they will soon push them out of the region since it is the original home (world bank) of the NDC.
Mr. Agbavitor emphatically assures the people of Hohoe that the seat would be return in 2024 adding that no seat would be lost again in the region to the NPP.
