Francis Morkporkpor Anyomi, Chief Executive Officer of LOTAR Technologies Limited and Regional Coordinator of the Volta Caucus of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), has received two continental recognitions for his work in technology, media and enterprise development.
Mr Anyomi was named one of Africa’s 100 Most Influential Leaders at a ceremony held in Kigali, Rwanda, on September 25, 2026.
The recognition follows an earlier honour on June 28, 2026, when he was named among the 100 Most Respected CEOs in Africa at the ninth edition of the awards organised by The Business Executive Group in Lusaka, Zambia.
His work spans technology, media and sustainable agriculture, with a focus on developing business solutions suited to African markets.
As CEO of LOTAR Technologies Limited, Mr Anyomi has championed enterprise-driven innovation, while his role within GIBA has involved supporting independent broadcasting and promoting collaboration among broadcasters in the Volta Region.
Commenting on the recognitions, Mr Anyomi said Africa had the capacity to shape and sustain its own development through innovation, collaboration and investment in local enterprise.
“Africa possesses an extraordinary capacity to create, control, and sustain its own future,” he said.
He added that the honours reflected the collective efforts of professionals and teams working across technology, business and media to create sustainable economic opportunities on the continent.
Mr Anyomi’s development philosophy centres on cross-sector collaboration, technological innovation and long-term economic growth. Through his work in the private sector and broadcasting industry, he continues to advocate approaches that support African-led enterprise and development.
The two recognitions place a spotlight on his work at the intersection of technology, media and entrepreneurship, as discussions continue across Africa about the role of local innovation and private enterprise in driving economic transformation.
