The Managing Editor of Insight Newspaper, Mr Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has taken a hold on the vice president, his Excellency Dr Alhaji Mahammudu Bawumia over the recent spate of armed robbery attacks in Ghana saying, it will be a great pity if he cannot resolve the problem.
According to Pratt, the 1992 constitution of the forth Republic of Ghana has made the vice president to superintend police service.
“It will be a great pity if His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahammudu Bawumia is unable to resolve this matter, because, two years ago, this was Mr. know all. He knows everything. He has answers for everything and so on. This is the brain box. Now he is in power, police has been assigned to you”.
Mr. Pratt made this comment when speaking on Radio Gold last Saturday, 3rd March, 2018 on the issue of recent spate of armed robbery attacks in the country that made the citizens living in fear and state of insecurity.
He exhorted the vice president to stand to the challenges by finding possible remedies to curb the influx of armed robbery attacks because it might go a long way to tarnish his reputation if the problem persists.
“Please, wake up, because it does to your reputation no good if these things persist” he added.
