The Ho Teaching Hospital has set July 2, 2022 to take up a mass burial exercise of some unclaimed and unidentified dead bodies in the hospitals Mortuary.
In a memo dated June 21, 2022 and signed by the management of the hospital, the facility has announced to the general public especially families and relatives who still have their family members in the Hospital’s morgue to show up for them before 30th June, 2022.
The letter indicated that, these unclaimed dead bodies are made up of seventeen (17) males and thirteen (13) females, remained unclaimed in the facility since 2020.
The Hospital therefore called on relatives of the deceased to come for their bodies for burial else they will be included in this exercise.
The Hospital however urged the general Public to cooperate with the management of the hospital for the exercise to be carried out.
The memo further added that, persons or relatives can possibly contact the administrator of the said unit on 0249665246 for more clarification before June 30 2022.
