The youth organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ho Central, Noah Dzikpor, has provided the constituency’s youth wings with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck to support their vigorous campaign efforts aimed at securing more votes for the party in both parliamentary and presidential elections.
During a brief ceremony on Wednesday, May 1, Mr. Noah Dzikpor officially handed over the pickup truck to the national youth organizer, Honorable Lawyer George Opare Addo.
This event marked the commissioning of a youth wing office for the Ho Central youth following a strategic training session for branch youth organizers and Tein executives held at GNAT hall in Ho on the same day.
Mr. Dzikpor emphasized the collective responsibility to ensure the party’s success in the 2024 elections, with the aim of removing the current NPP-led government and restoring Ghana to its former glory.
As part of his contribution, he allocated resources to enable the youth to actively support the party’s campaign for victory on December 7, 2024.
Expressing concern over the escalating unemployment rates among young people in communities, Mr. Dzikpor highlighted that the support provided by the pickup truck would facilitate outreach to those youth who may be straying from the path of responsible adulthood due to factors like unemployment and engaging in undesirable habits.
Addressing rumors about Togolese voters in Ghana, Mr. Dzikpor clarified that there are no Togolese voters in their area, emphasizing that individuals from neighboring countries are welcome to participate in elections if they meet the necessary criteria.
Parliamentary candidate Edem Kofi Richmond Kpotosu affirmed the NDC’s confidence in winning the general election on December 7, 2024, attributing this success to the active involvement of the youth wing. He commended the national youth organizer for his commitment to mobilizing youth support to oust the current government.
Highlighting the significance of the youth within the party, Kpotosu stressed the pivotal role they play in elections, given their majority representation in the population.
He expressed optimism about winning the election and reiterated the party’s relentless efforts to secure every vote in the constituency for both John Dramani Mahama and himself.
