In an effort to promote local tourism, connect with nature, engage in physical exercise, and foster companionship, members of the Communication and Media Studies Students’ Association (CoMSSA), along with some lecturers from the School of Communication and Media Studies and students from the School of Business at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), embarked on a memorable hike to the scenic Muni-Pomadzie Ramsar site in Winneba.
The enthusiastic group of hikers set out on the adventure with the shared goal of exploring the natural beauty of the Ramsar site, renowned for its lush greenery, picturesque landscapes, and serene atmosphere.
As they navigated the trails and pathways, participants immersed themselves in the tranquil surroundings, absorbing the sights and sounds of the local vegetation.
The hike provided an opportunity for students and lecturers alike to engage in physical activity, promoting health and well-being while fostering a deeper connection with nature.
Participants embraced the chance to unwind, recharge, and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Furthermore, the hike served as a platform for students to bond and build relationships beyond the confines of the academic setting.
