The Health Promotion Officer at the Dormaa Central Municipal Health Directorate, Mr. Adu-Darko Kofi, has urged women to undergo regular breast screening to facilitate the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
He also called on husbands to support and encourage their wives to examine their breasts regularly to identify any unusual changes or abnormalities that may require medical attention.
Mr. Adu-Darko Kofi further advised women to visit health facilities within their communities for breast cancer screening and examination.
He said regular screening would enable women to know their breast health status and seek appropriate medical support promptly when necessary.
He stressed that early detection remains crucial in improving treatment outcomes and reducing the risk of complications associated with breast cancer.
