The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 47-year-old woman in connection with the murder of George Atuguba and Irene Atuguba at NTHC Estate, Sakumono, on October 30, 2026.
The suspect, identified as Beatrice Mumuni, is alleged to have led the principal suspect, Samuel Christopher Osei Anto, to the residence of the deceased before the killings.
Police source said Osei Anto had been declared wanted to assist investigations into the two murder cases.
However, police have announced a reward of GH¢100,000 for anyone who provides credible information leading to his arrest.
The service urged members of the public who have information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the police through the emergency numbers 191 or 18555.
The arrest comes as investigators continue efforts to establish the circumstances of the murders and locate the principal suspect.
