The Trade Union Congress (TUC) has honored the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for his exceptional leadership within the Police service and urged him to consistently uphold peace throughout the nation.
During the 2024 Workers Day celebration, the Union bestowed a citation upon the Inspector General of Police in recognition of his efforts in maintaining peace and law enforcement across the country.
The union praised the Inspector General of Police for his role in preserving peace and modernizing the police service since assuming the position in August 2021.
Furthermore, they encouraged him to persist in ensuring peace and harmony in the country, particularly as the nation approaches the December 2024 elections to choose new leaders.
