The swift intervention of the Ghana Police Service has led to the rescue of the chief of Kubease, Nana Ottupre Kwagyan, from his abductors.
The chief was allegedly captured by some unknown men in the early hours of Monday, October 16, 2023.
Police sources said Nana Ottupre Kwagyan was forcefully taken from his house by some six (6) persons to an unknown location.
Following a report of the incident, the police conducted a successful mission to rescue the victim who is currently in safe custody, whilst investigations continue to get the perpetrators arrested.
Kubease is a suburb of Kwahu Abetifi in the Eastern Region.
