The Chief of the Adina clan in Agortime Kpetoe, Nene Tu Abri V, is thrilled about the opportunity to partake in this year’s Kente festival, also known as Agbamevorza, scheduled for August.
Representing the Konor of the Agortime Traditional Area, Nene Tu Abri spoke at the third biennial rally of the Ho East Presbytery Hadzihaga (Great Choir) of the EPCG at Kpetoe on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Nene Nuer Keteku IV expressed optimism that the festival, commencing on August 4th this year, would be a unique celebration bringing joy to the residents of Agortime and friends from overseas.
Nene encouraged everyone to visit Agortime during the festival, revealing that it had been postponed the previous year due to unforeseen circumstances.
Nevertheless, she expressed confidence that this year’s event would proceed as planned and contribute to Agortime’s growth.
They commended the EPCG Agortime Kpetoe for their remarkable efforts and the multitude of events that facilitated the celebration. They also lauded the group for organizing this year’s rally in the Presbytery.
Nene also advised the members to uphold their commitment to their individual responsibilities and duties in the growth and sustainability of the church and its organizations, urging them to remain diligent.

The people of the Agortime Ziope constituency were encouraged to make the right choice in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections in December by the two political parties’ Parliamentary Candidates, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
These candidates also generously supported the 2024 biennial Presbytery rally.
