The Assembly Member of the Fiave electoral area, Hon. Charles Legbedze, has responded to allegations levelled against him by some residents of Adzimakorpe, a suburb of Ho in the Volta region.
Addressing the issue on the Swiss FM Morning Show, Mr. Legbedze revealed that efforts are being made to address the challenges in the area.
He explained that both the regional urban roads and the Municipal Urban Roads Engineers have assured him that work to repair the damaged road was scheduled to start last week, but he could not explain why no progress has been made.

Mr. Legbedze noted that similar road repair work is currently underway at Anlokordzi in the Ho township, expressing optimism that the situation in Adzimakorpe will be addressed after the completion of the Anlokordzi project.
Regarding the possibility of road blocking, Hon. Charles Legbedze urged the youth of the area to exercise patience, assuring them that he would lead them if the promises made by the authorities did not materialize.
He also refuted allegations of neglecting community development, particularly in the installation of streetlights.
He clarified that he took action by hiring an electrician to fix a light, but the ECG (Electricity Company of Ghana) halted the process.
Despite acknowledging the size of his electoral area, he promised his continued availability and close contact with the community to address their requests for support from the assembly.
Furthermore, he called on entities within the electoral area to join efforts in extending their corporate responsibilities to facilitate overall development in the area.
