Emergency Clinic set up at Mepe to address health issues after Akosombo, Kpong Dam Spillage

The Deputy Minister for Health, Hon.Tina Mensah, has revealed that an Emergency Clinic has been set up at the premises of the St. Kizito Senior High School to address health issues of the communities affected as a result of the spillage of the Akosombo and Kpong dams flooding the three Tongu Districts with Mepe being a hard-hit area.

According to her the clinic will be set up in other communities affected by the spillage.

The Weija-Gbawe Member of Parliament indicated that the facility would serve both subscribers and non-subscribers on the National Health Insurance Scheme.

She was speaking to the media at Mepe on Monday, October 16, 2023.
