Hon. Daniel Yao Agbezudor, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ho Central Constituency, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Constituency Secretary ahead of the party’s internal elections.
In a statement announcing his decision, the aspiring constituency executive said his candidature was driven by a commitment to the ideals of the NDC and a desire to contribute to strengthening the party’s structures at the constituency level.
According to him, he intends to leverage his professional experience, organisational skills and commitment to support the administration of the constituency and promote unity among party members.
Mr. Agbezudor said he was seeking the position to serve the party rather than for personal recognition, adding that he would work closely with constituency executives, branch executives, cadres and supporters to build a stronger and more cohesive Ho Central Constituency.
He stated that effective leadership requires commitment, service and the ability to inspire others, quoting leadership author John C. Maxwell’s assertion that, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”
The aspiring deputy constituency secretary appealed to party members for their prayers and support as the constituency prepares for the internal elections.
He expressed confidence that collective efforts and unity among members would strengthen the party and position it for future electoral success in the constituency.
The National Democratic Congress is expected to elect constituency executives across the country as part of efforts to strengthen its grassroots structures and prepare for future political activities.
