The Bono East Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Musah Abdulai, has urged Muslims to remain devoted to Allah and live righteous lives in order to receive divine blessings and guidance.
The respected Islamic cleric emphasised the spiritual importance of Eid-ul-Adha and the need for Muslims to demonstrate complete obedience and submission to Allah.
His call came a day after he led the 2026 Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Techiman Zongo M/A School Park in the Bono East Regional capital.
According to the Chief Imam, Eid-ul-Adha serves as a reminder of the unwavering faith, obedience, and sacrifice demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim, virtues he encouraged Muslims to emulate in their daily lives through humility, devotion, and righteousness.
Alhaji Musah Abdulai further called on Muslims to promote peace, unity, and love among all people regardless of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations, stressing that peaceful coexistence remains vital for national development and social harmony.
He also advised the youth to celebrate the Eid festivities responsibly and peacefully, urging them to avoid behaviours that could endanger lives or damage the image of Islam.
The Chief Imam further encouraged young people to uphold discipline, respect for elders, and good moral values not only during the festive season but throughout their lives.
