Miss Josephine Fiakomla has appealed to her peers to prioritize their wellbeing and consider their education paramount to enable them to become useful their various societies.
Miss Fiakomla is native of Tafi Atome in the Afadzato South District of the Volta region who has been adjudged beauty queen in the maiden edition of Face of Tegbor Beauty Pageantry, an event organised by Adepa Events Consult as part of the annual development festival celebrated by the people of Tafi Atome in the Volta region to champion developmental programs of the community.
The 15-year-old Junior High School (JHS) graduate of Queens Pride International School East Legon Hills who is currently awaiting her result, took home a crown, citation, certificate and one year University scholarship (pledged) as her winning prize whiles Miss Sandra Amada and Miss Rebecca Dzandu also received crowns, citations, certificates as 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
In her speech, she urged her fellow young girls to take very good care of themselves and to also take their education seriously to become useful in the society.
Mr. Caleb Adipah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adepa Events Consult charged the ladies to stay focused and also try hard to keep their pride to enable them to overcome challenges they encounter which ruin their future.
He further expressed gratitude to Togbega Koradza IV Regent of Tafi Atome and festival planning committee for bringing the idea to develop the area through pageantry.
This year’s celebration aimed at raising funds for the completion of an ongoing teachers’ bungalow project in the community.
