The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Techiman North, Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, has toured some ongoing 2025 District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) project sites.

The DCE, accompanied by the District Coordinating Director and some assembly heads, paid the visit to assess the progress of work in the communities.

The April 22, 2026, inspection covered projects in several communities, including Konimase Area 2’s six-unit classroom block, Bridgeso’s three-unit KG block, Kogoago’s CHPS compound, Boadan’s mechanised borehole and Nyamebekyere’s mechanised borehole.

Other project sites visited were Bonya (CHPS compound), Kwakunumakura (mechanised borehole), and Tuobodom (DCE’s residence).

Speaking to the media during the tour, Hon. Johnson commended John Dramani Mahama and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare for their continued support towards infrastructure development in the district.

He assured residents that the District Assembly would ensure the effective and transparent use of the DACF to improve living conditions across the district.

He further urged contractors working on the various projects to adhere strictly to timelines and maintain high-quality standards to ensure value for money and long-term sustainability of the projects.

On his part, Nana Yeboah Afena Akumsah, Chief of Bridgeso, commended the DCE, the Member of Parliament, and the government for the construction of the three-unit KG block in the community.

He noted that the project would greatly enhance early childhood education and provide a conducive learning environment for the children, while also appealing for more developmental projects to support the growing population.

However, some residents in the communities visited praised the DCE for the implementation of the various projects, describing them as timely interventions that would significantly improve access to education, healthcare, and potable water in the district.
