Chief Superintendent Daniel Kwao Teye, the Divisional Police Commander of Dormaa Central Municipal, has issued a cautionary message to motorbike, tricycle, and Pragya riders, urging them to exercise extreme caution while on the road to mitigate the incidence of accidents.

During the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration at Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region, Chief Superintendent Teye highlighted the increasing occurrence of road traffic accidents in Dormaa Ahenkro involving motorbikes, tricycles, and Pragya vehicles, which continue to claim numerous lives. He emphasized the urgent need for motorcyclists to wear helmets prior to road use, as this protective gear can significantly reduce the risk of head injuries in the event of an accident, given the vulnerability of the human head.

He mentioned that additional road safety precautions will be communicated to road users in order to help decrease the number of accidents in Dormaa and its surrounding areas.

The Municipal Chief Imam, Sheikh Zakaria Ibrahim, called on believers to abstain from employing cruel and sinful methods to amass wealth, as such practices offer no benefits to humanity given the various stages of human existence.

He emphasized that the world is replete with numerous beautiful and successful opportunities, which can be attained through patience, perseverance, and hard work.

He urged everyone to eschew wickedness and cruel approaches in their pursuit of wealth.

“We enter this world with nothing and depart in the same manner, accountable to the Creator for all our endeavors during our lifetime. Hence, it is illogical to enter the world with nothing, harm fellow human beings, and resort to cruel and wicked methods to accumulate wealth, only to leave everything behind upon death,” he observed.

He further cautioned believers to exhibit good behavior, refrain from malevolent activities, and cultivate a just and positive mindset in life to ensure a better future eternally.

Sheikh Zakaria Ibrahim used the opportunity to offer prayers for the advancement and prosperity of our nation, Ghana, and its citizens.

He urged fervent prayers for nations afflicted by conflicts and other tensions, as the ongoing USA-Israel-Iran conflict persists, leaving numerous Islamic countries in a state of confusion that continues to disrupt peace and endanger the lives of residents in these Middle East countries.
