The Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Richard Divine Kwamla Bosson has handed over an office complex to the assembly as part of his promises to his people.
The office complex project which was awarded to Yandeg Company limited has been commissioned on December 30, 2022.
The ceremony was attended by staff of the Ho municipal Assembly, Chiefs and Queen mothers from the Municipality and some stake holders.
Speaking during the ceremony, the MCE said, the office of the Municipal Chief Executive and the Municipal Chief Director (MCD) are key to him from the day of his confirmation and swearing in as Municipal Chief Executive of Ho.
“I can recall on the day of my confirmation and swearing in as MCE that l made a promise to give the assembly a befitting office complex in readiness to become a metropolitan and also, to bring developmental projects to every community both rural and urban area”. He recounted.
The MCE noted that, the Ho Municipal Assembly is again benefiting from a GHc7.5million ultra-modern office complex by the help of His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo.
He also mentioned that this Ultra-modern project has already been awarded and work is progressing steadily.
Mr. Bosson further extended gratitude to the revenue office for helping in mobilisation of enough revenue adding that, they have helped in improving upon the internal generated funds (IGF).
He also thanked the IGF payroll members for their patience during days of discharging their duties.
He further warned staff who have refused to perform their duty in the assembly to “back up before the dark days come”.
Ho Municipal Assembly has been one of the oldest Assembly which has not seen any major facelift for decades after been superintended by successive Chief Executives over the period.
