The Jesus Mission Church Ghana has concluded its 2026 Annual Stir-Up Ministers’ Conference at the Jesus Mission College in Tuobodom, in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region, with a renewed call on ministers to faithfully preach the Word of God and strengthen the spiritual lives of believers.

The four-day conference, held from Tuesday, July 7, to Friday, July 10, 2026, brought together more than 50 pastors from across Ghana under the theme “Feed My Flock” from John 21:15–17.

Delivering a keynote address, the General Secretary of Jesus Mission Church Ghana, Rev. Dr. Stephen Amoakohene, urged ministers of the Gospel to devote themselves to diligent study and in-depth research of the scriptures to deepen their understanding and effectively communicate the pure and undiluted message of Christ.

He emphasised that sound biblical teaching remains fundamental to the growth of the Church and encouraged pastors to continually equip themselves spiritually and intellectually to meet the needs of their congregations.

Rev. Dr. Amoakohene also encouraged pastors and Christians to rely on the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit in their mission to win souls for Christ.

He further advised believers to place their faith in the saving and miracle-working power of Jesus Christ rather than becoming overly dependent on prophetic declarations and spiritual directions.

Also addressing the conference, the National Programmes Director of Jesus Mission Church Ghana, Rev. Thomas Larbi, underscored the importance of discipline within the church, urging pastors to cultivate discipline among members as a foundation for Christian growth and responsible citizenship.

He noted that disciplined Christians are better positioned to positively influence their communities and contribute to national development.

The National Treasurer of the Church, Rev. Isaac Asamoah, challenged young people to avoid social vices such as smoking, alcohol abuse and other destructive behaviours that could undermine their future.

He reminded the youth that they are the next generation of leaders and encouraged them to lead lives marked by integrity, responsibility and strong Christian values.

The annual conference served as a platform for spiritual renewal, biblical instruction and leadership development, equipping ministers with the theological knowledge, pastoral skills and spiritual inspiration needed to strengthen their ministries and advance the mission of Jesus Mission Church Ghana across the country.
