The Oti Regional communication director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Seidu Musah has admitted, that Ghana is facing economic difficulties.

He said, despite the current economic challenge, the country is on track and has not collapsed.

According to him, a collapsed economy cannot run all the developmental projects and other social intervention programs instituted by the Nana Addo and Bawumia led government.

In an interview with Oti based Sankofa FM, he stressed that, a collapsed economy cannot be running Free SHS, paying salaries of workers every month and keeping our lights on till this time of the year.

He observed that when the country’s economy collapsed under the National Democratic Congress (NDC), all social intervention programs were cancelled.

He was however optimistic that, interventions made by the current NPP government shall help the party winds the 2024 elections.
