The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Parliamentary Candidate for Ho Central Constituency in the Volta region, Hon. Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has assured constituents to remain hopeful and ready for the new NDC government in 2025.
The aim is to reform and transform the lives of Ghanaians.
The former Regional Human Resource Manager at the Ghana Education Service (GES), Hon. Kpotosu addressed a section of youth in Dave, a suburb of Ho, on Sunday during his Viva Gala event.
He encouraged the youth to be determined and dedicated to whatever service they are called to do.
He emphasized that the new NDC government plans to bring jobs to improve the standard of living for the people of Ghana, enabling a stress-free life.
Hence, he urged Ghanaians to vote wisely in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
“The NDC you know will not be the same NDC in 2025. We are coming with a revived NDC that is ready to transform the lives of citizens, providing good jobs and opportunities for development,” he explained.
The Viva Gala is an inter-zone community team gala initiated by the Parliamentary Candidate to engage youth in enhancing talent for exploration and promoting the football business, which involves talent fetching, promotion, and development.
The annual gala, expected to be staged in six zones across the Ho Central Constituency, has already been held at Hordzo, Sokode, and Dave.
Upcoming zones include Tokokoe-Ave-Shia, Matse-Lume and Klefe, culminating in the final to be hosted at the Ho Sports Stadium on June 4, 2024.
Participating teams in the gala will be rewarded with footballs, branded Viva sets of jerseys, and trophies.
Zone winners will square off at the Ho Sports Stadium later in June this year.
Mr. Kpotosu further stated that the gala is a project intended to stay, strengthening the local division leagues in the constituency.
He used the opportunity to appeal to voters to massively vote for him as the Member of Parliament and to remember the former President and the flag bearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama, for their dreams to materialize.
