The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of Enoch Obiri, aged 56, which occurred at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Police source narrated that, on February 13, 2026, the decease is said to have been attacked by the suspect, Eric Kenny, who caused several injuries to various portions of his body, including his left arm and abdomen.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect had allegedly threatened the deceased on several occasions over a suspected amorous relationship involving his wife.
The suspect was also reported to have been seen in the area on the day of the incident. He is currently in police custody assisting investigations and will be put before court.
