The Techiman North District Director of the Ghana Health Service, Mr. Alex Kuma, has commended the government for the construction of an ultramodern CHPS compound at Kokoago.
He also thanked the Techiman North District Chief Executive, Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson and the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, for their effort in facilitating the project.
Mr. Kuma said the facility would improve access to healthcare and strengthen the delivery of health services to residents of Kokoago and surrounding communities.
He made the remarks when the Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, together with the Techiman North District Chief Executive, inspected government projects being undertaken in the district.
Mr. Kuma said the completion of the facility would provide residents with easier access to basic healthcare services and reduce the need to travel long distances to seek medical attention.
Meanwhile, at Tuobodom, the Bono East Regional Minister inspected the ongoing construction of a teacher training college as part of his tour of government projects in the Techiman North District.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the project, the regional minister discussed the progress of the facility and the government’s efforts to ensure that development projects in the district are properly monitored and completed.
